JA: What is the make/model/year of your car?
Customer: Ford Focus 2013
JA: Are you fixing your Focus yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: No chance - bit useless at this - tried to get into garage who did service but can’t see car for days
JA: Anything else you want the Mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: No - had no signs until yesterday - car drove to work fine but driving home at lunch was like different car

Full service carried out - car was sluggish before service so intake pipe was replaced - only recommendation was to look at pollen filter replacement at some stage due to age

Hi there thanks

what engine is fitted to your vehicle

was this serviced by ford

if it was a masjid/full service why was the pollen filter not replaced?

was the exact same fault present before service ie hesitating

what diagnostic fault Code is being logged

Hi thanks for trying to help - mechanic friend has come over to deal with

Hi no worries

if you require assistance going forward please let me know and i will do my upmost to assist you ie after fault codes checks etc

hesitation is most commonly down to a partially blocked fuel filter

I always advise using geniune ford filters instead of aftermarket filters due to the importance of fuel flow
