How do you mean not reading, no communication i take it then?,what scanners are they using..are they getting power from the DLC socket..

Customer: replied 6 months ago.
Yeah not communicating, they used snap on kit. Don’t understand why it’s not communicating

Have they tried going in via Renault instead?, by that i mean scan as if it was the Renault Trafic van..ive had that a few times before on these vans using an Autel MS908P.. no coms via Vauxhall but instead scanned it in Renault under Trafic van of the same year and it worked..worth trying.. they are basically all the same vans any way the 2.0cdti - M9R is basically Nissan/Renault engine any way.

Yeah tried that , no joy. It was communicating with the airbag ok , but not the engine. Don’t know what to do next. Any ideas

Have you tried Op-com on it or know anyone who has that.. - they might have to put a obd breakout box plug it into the dlc and then the scanner into that to see what communicating and whats not... i take you have checked fuses, main etc in the engine bay..i suspect given the terrible wiring on the vans you have coms, wiring break somewhere in the loom issue to ecu, maybe check the pins for corrosion at ecu 3 plugs to check , ecu is down under below the coolant tank under a metal cover...
