The electrics just stopped working on my 76 Suzuki GT750, lights cut out and engine stopped. I checked the fuse and it looks fine. Any ideas?

A nice choice. First Japanese Motor Cycle with a water cooled angine!

Have you checked the basics? Battery would be my first port of call - check that it hasn't got a dead short and check the wiring to it.

If the battery tests ok then you must be looking for something that relates to your complete electrical system. i would suggest that the second port of call would be the ignition switch. If this was faulty there is the potential to lose lights and engine electrics.

Obvioulsy any fuses along the way should be checked also.

Please find attached the manuals for your machine and a wiring diagram.

Hope this helps and if you need anything further please do get in touch.
