Morning Brian, i have pressed the voice button and nothing happened. Michelle

Hi Michelle good morning to you
ok I suspect the Bluetooth module has locked up and will need reset

there is two ways to do this

1, remove the Bluetooth module fuse from the passengers fuse box and leave out for 10 minutes (I would need the registration number to check what fuse number is)

2, dissconnect the battery for 10 minutes

then reconnect the battery this should rest the system

this will power down the audio unit also so you will need the radio code (I can assist you if you need this )

Sat nav unit codes are more difficult to assist with

If you need any further help or technical assistance going forward Michelle

Hi Michelle yes this is all connected

can you pull “ FUSE 6 “ out of the fuse box in the passengers footwell And leave it out for around 10 minutes then refit It and enter your radio code

Thanks Brian, thats really helpful, ill message back to confirm that its worked. Just one more question please, am i able to upgrade the bluetooth system to run my music as well as calls from my phone if i take it too a ford audio specialist? Michelle

Hi Michelle you don’t need your upgrade to Bluetooth stream ie Spotify from your phone

once your phone is connected /paired with the system press the AUX BUTTON TWICE/3 tones depending on unit

the first one should say aux / then iPod / turn BT Audio

then you can steam straight from your phone through Bluetooth

Hi Brian, i am looking at the fuse box, can you be specific about what fuse 6 is please? They aren't conveniently numbered, Michelle
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Also, there is no fuse in the 6th socket if that helps
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
However, i do have a spare blue (15) fuse if you think i should try that. Have read the handbook Michelle

Hi Michelle can you pull fuse 7 and see if radio goes off

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
The radio still works without fuse 7
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Also, the fuse i have is too big, but i can get one if thats whats needed , Michelle

Hi Michelle can you pull fuse 43 in the fuse box under the bonnet and see if radio powers down with this

don’t worry about fitting a fuse that won’t help

if fuse 43 doesn’t work we may need to dissconnect the battery terminal
