1.2 petrol.. its a timing chain engine..doesnt have a timing belt..

There's no real set schedule to replace timing chains on any engine that uses them..timing chains tend to stretch over a period of time and thats usually way up in the 150k/200k or longer before you even think about replacing it... besides if the the timing needs done you'll hear it rattling or you get fault codes set for crank and cam not sync'd... the rule really is to always keep to regular oil/filter changes.. as the oil lubricates the chain and guides so helps prolong its lifetime..
