Cardiology Questions? Ask a Cardiologist for Answers ASAP.
Hi, I'm Dr Osula, how are you?
Can you explain what you mean by strange?
any dizziness, did you faint? any chest pains, was your heart beating too fast or too slow?
Has this happened before? I presumed you did not count the rate
ok, as you felt funny after exercise it could be due to a number of reasons
You'll need a 24-hr heart monitor/ECG to capture your heart beat and rhythm, and a possible echo scan to look at the structures of your heart
You'll also need bloos tests such as blood sugar and thyroid as abnormalities can cause those symptoms
Possible referral to cardiologist depending on what the ECG or echo shows or does not show
No worries, please feel free to provide feedback ratings if happy with my service
you need 24hr ECG, plus they dont tend to check thyroid and glucose in hospital
Yes, your GP can do those tests and refer you to a cardiologist
No worries
