This answer was rated:

Hi. My heart has palputations. Suddenly out of nowhere my heart rate goes crazy and then just as suddenly goes back to normal few seconds later. It is scaring me.
I had this years ago, cardioligist said my heart is fine.
Now it has started happening again. Twice today

Greetings,

Thank you for your question.
I will try my best to help you.
I will answer in a moment/request for further information.

Since when are you having the symptom?

How long do the episodes last?

Do you have any other symptom? chest pain? shortness of breath?

Any other past illness?

How is your blood pressure? pulse rate?

Did you take any medicine?

Are you on any regular medicine?

Got it.

Please wait.

I am writing the answer.

Thank you for your patience.

Thank you for waiting.

I understand your concern.

I am very sorry for your symptoms.

You are likely having premature or ectopic beats.

Usually these are harmless, if it is not in excessive numbers or without underlying heart disease.

Your BP & resting heart rate is fine.

Certain condition may predispose to it.

Anxiety is one of them.

As you are stressed, it is likely causing it.

Anxiety, stress need to be avoided.

I would advise to avoid caffeine, alcohol if you take any.

If the symptom continues, I would advise to take an examination by doctor.

An EKG or monitor can be taken.

You can do breathing exercise.

This would help to reduce stress & anxiety.

You can see this link on it.

Please do not panic.

Such episodes would not be serious.

Customer: replied 2 day ago.
Should go away once i get my anxiety under control?

It should be under control as you do not have any other predisposing factor.

Customer: replied 2 day ago.
Thank you. Anxiety is a very bad thing, you don't see it comming and suddenly you can't get rid of it.
Can i exercise or not until i get this under control?

First, you can try light exercise, daily walk.
If you tolerate it you can increase it as you get acclimatized.
