I recently had an accident and suffered a spinal cord

This answer was rated:

i recently had an accident and suffered a spinal cord injury. very traumatic, cannot walk properly, move my hands, go to the loo, etc but i'm coping. counsellor told me i need to work and live as normal life as possible i agree. i want to work in the city. i'm 58, brown and not the most attractive candidate. but i believe companies want more inclusive staff. how do i use my disability to get a job?

Good afternoon,

Counsel I would agree with as terrible the situation you have been dealing with that your talents that you can bring to a company would help both them in a good worker as well as help you feel that you can accomplish something and bring pride to yourself. Already you are dealing with issues that many could not as I commend you on that.

As for assistance in finding work, suggest working with agencies that can review your situation and help in placement with a company. Below are a few to inquire with:

1. Evenbreak

2. Disability jobsite

3. Remploy

4. UK Government website with assistance

I hope that the information provided has been found helpful. Also if you could please take a second to rate my assistance so that I know my help was found useful

Take care
