I gave my 1 year old cat Rose her flea treatment, Advantage,

I gave my 1 year old cat Rose her flea treatment, Advantage, this morning. About 2hrs later I noticed she had licked around the area where I put it. She's a little wriggler and some went a bit lower than I would of like. I have now washed it off , she has a had a little drink and some biscuits and is now sitting quietly. Do I need to give her a bath, make sure there's none on her at all, get a vets appointment or will she be ok? Thank you.

Luckily, Advantage is extremely safe with minimal side effects even if licked

On the base of her head. She wriggled a bit and some went a bit lower.

You should make sure you place the product between the shoulder blades by parting the hair and applying the product in that area

things to watch for would be any vomiting, diarrhea or twitching episodes

if you notice any of those then bring her straight to your vets office

you do not need to give her a bath
