Customer Question

My 15 year old cat had an op to remove bladder stones on the 23rd December. The vets are pleased with his recovery, which has been slow but steady. However this evening he has been a little sick - this happened after he had eaten some food combined with a capsule of Cistophan. He has previously only had Cistophan given directly in capsule form. (We were advised to try combining it with food as the capsules are large and we were having trouble getting him to swallow them. Has has eaten a little dried food since being sick so I'm presuming he isn't feeling too poorly. However we also noticed what we thought was blood in his urine. On close inspection it appeared to contain filaments of some sort. Could this just be his dissolvable stitches being expelled? Is this to be expected?
