Hi i have a 8 month old kitten who has swallowed one of my tablets i take, its callled Lansoparazole 30mg gastro resitant. I have phoned my own vet who said to ring the pooisons centre but that costs money for information. Any advice please?
Assistant: I'll do all I can to help. Did you see what the kitten ate?

Thankfully, the proton pump antacids such as lansoprazole are very well tolerated by pets even when ingested in excess. Transient diarrhea might arise but your kitten will remain safe. Thus, there's no need to induce emesis nor treat in any manner. Please respond with further questions or concerns.
