Hi our cat is 14, she is a well cat but has started being sick everyday for the past few weeks. She is feed whiskas wet food, do you think this is to rich for her now?

JA: Does the cat ever go outside? Is she taking any medications?
Customer: She does go outside and she is not on medication.

Hello, you are through to Dr Linda, a UK based vet.
I'm sorry to hear this.
Daily vomiting is a concern and, at this age, unlikely to be diet related.
Coupled with her symptoms of being thin and hungry, we would need to consider an under disease such as hyperthyroidism, inflammatory bowel disease or cancer.
A vet visit is best and they may run some tests such as a blood test.
At home, ensure she is up to date with a good quality wormer such as Panacur and consider some probiotics. I would also feed a highly digestible diet such as Hills I/D.
