It wiped all your data and you had to set up the phone again?

No I wasn't prepared to lose all the info. All other tones work so I was wondering if there was a connection to a recent phone upgrade

No, as the latest updates still work with no issue, it is an issue with the firmware and you are going to need to do the proper reset.

ok, but you should still ensure the data is backed up in the event you lost the phone..

Also with this issue there could be other underlying issues with the phone which this would resolve.
