You should have it the system off, hit the power button and then hit f4 to do the area you want to, thats assuming the harddrive is not bad. I'm still trying to reach you by phone.

I cant continue as I don't understand what you want me to do ,I have tried to get f4 again but it tells me to press f8 which I doo and I don't understand it

f4 is for recovery, as in to completely reformat the system, you would hit f4 after starting the computer. F8 is for different options in the operating system.

I agrey with you but f4 dos not work and it tells me to go to f8

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I have waited over 1 hour and the is still no reply from you why?

Hey there, you realize i don't live on this site right? I sleep, eat and do normal things. You still have not said what you want to do with f3, f3 does nothing.....were you able to get into windows last night? Or are you still wanting to format?

I am not sure why your system is not responding to f4 on boot up, thats what you were wanting to do is erase everything and start over.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
that is what I want to do
