Ok, so a SSD can't be "increased" in and of itself, but you can always put a bigger SSD into your Dell Inspiron to increase its capacity. Or again, always get an external hard drive and put your big files on it to clear up space on your computer. And no, you can't install programs on the D: drive, it is mostly for a partition back up for the main HD (C:), it is honestly best to leave the D: alone as it is needed for potential recovery/back up partitioning of the drive.
