I have a TPLink -Linking the house that has stopped working to connect me to the Internet my main rounter is in the shed office in the garden any ideas please

To confirm, are they both plugged directly into the power sockets Lyn? And not via a power board?

Yes both plug in

On the top of the adapters is a small hole
Use a pen and press both of them down while it is plugged in, for 3 seconds, then release.
This then resets them
Do this and then tell me please if they function.

It is one of the adapters that has faulted.
A corrupted firmware can cause this. But we have ruled this out by trying to reinstall it. The fact that the problem continues confirms this.
I am really sorry about this and you are going to have to return the adapters to have them replaced. It will be covered by the warranty, and the replacement will be done at no cost to you.
