Hi, thank you for contacting My name is Russell. I will do my best to provide the right answer to your question. To get an Android OS device like a Samsung tablet (presumably of the Galaxy model series? let me know, please...) to print to a Canon printer, two things should be done:1. the printer should be one of the models that is truly wireless-capable where Android devices are concerned, and2. you must use the right app on the Android device, to do the printing to, or the connection to, the printer. I want to look up the Canon MG3650 for you, and determine whether it is truly Android-wireless compatible... but I do not know what app you are using nor how you are trying to connect. Please tell me the details of what Samsung device you are using, and what app (or other means) of connecting you are using. (Also, be sure that in your Settings - Network Settings, WiFi is enabled! that's quite necessary, barring a Bluetooth connection being somehow possible.)

Hi sorry been at work, yes it is the galaxy tablet. I've tried using canon print and samsung cloud, everything works until it comes to add the printer it just keeps saying device not found.

OK. Again, I advise you to go into your tablet's Settingsand then into itsNetworking Settingsand then check that WiFi is enabled (and other data service is disabled, just to start this process right, not permanently). Then try the connecting to the printer again, after connecting to your WiFi router for data service.

Still won't recognise it.

Given that the printer is brand-new and has apparently been obdurate in not connecting nor supporting a connection from the Samsung device, I have to ask:- has this new printer been printing by wireless from any other device? if not (even if you have no other devices to test it with), then if it has been properly set up (e.g. if the wireless settings on the printer itself have been properly configured) then you may have a defective printer. Has the printer itself had its wireless settings configured, e.g. to match the local WiFi router or any other configuration of a similar nature?

There is nothing wrong with the printer, it's all working it's my tablet that won't recognise the printer. I must say I'm very disappointed with this experience

Small wonder if the connection is not working - at least, if you are trying to use Canon Easy-Photo-Print app: the MG3650 is not compatible with it.Cite: As for the Canon Mobile Printing App, no Canon MG---- -series is listed as compatible with it. Unfortunately, unless some other app lists the MG3650 as compatible, it is possible that you will have to return the printer, and get an exchange for another model that *is* listed as compatible by Canon Mobile Printing app's Specifications page cited above. (Easy Photo-Print is only good for printing photos, of course, a rather narrow usefulness.) If you are trying to use another app, it may also be not-compatible with the printer. Let me know so that I can check specifically.
