I have a spreadsheet containing people's ages. For the following year I would take a copy of the spreadsheet and want to advance everyone's age by 1. Is there a way in Excel to select a column and add 1 to each cell in that column? Hope you can help Thanks

Yes you can, for example if the ages are in Column A then in Column B you would put in for example B1


Then copy this down the entire column.
