Hi there,

Have you tried using the Remove Duplicates button from the Excel Data tab?

Regards

no I have not, I don't wanna lose the data. I need the total for further analysis

Will copying the column into another column work and then removing duplicates? You'll still have the full data in the original column then.

Customer: replied 4 days ago.
but will not match with the rows
Customer: replied 4 days ago.
I need the second column to be a foreign key and the third to be a primary key in my GIS analysis.

If you use the following formula, it will remove the duplicates (i.e. if row above is the same, show blank)

=IF(A2=A1,"",A2)

Customer: replied 4 days ago.
yes this is for the final step would help

but what about the time
I just want to make where it is duplicate
minutes to be equal
Customer: replied 4 days ago.
can you please check the 2nd column, and how I can do that automatically?

If you sort column A by time, and then use the above formula, it will get rid of the duplicate times.

Customer: replied 4 days ago.
sorry I think you got me wrong
I want to keep the time first I need it

I want my second column to contain the information as the attached image

Ok, but what logic do you want for the 2nd column? If next row in column in A is only one minute less round up?

Customer: replied 4 days ago.
if the sum is equal to 5 minutes
Customer: replied 4 days ago.
check this case in the attached photo

Umm. So you don't just want to round up to the nearest 5 minutes, e.g. 9:48, 9:49 to 9:50 and 9:51, 9:52 to 9:55?

Customer: replied 4 days ago.
yes
Customer: replied 4 days ago.
like where the data and geocode and name is equal make the time equal too with regards to the first reading
Customer: replied 4 days ago.
date*
Customer: replied 4 days ago.
Is there is a way to do that?

I'm still not completely clear on the logic. E.g. why wouldn't B18 be 12:23 since it is within 5 mins?

Customer: replied 4 days ago.
sorry, my bad. because I have done it manually I made a mistake
it actually must be 12.23
Customer: replied 4 days ago.
is that what you mean?

Exactly

Customer: replied 4 days ago.
I am sorry about that.

Is this what you want? See attachment
