I use BT to receive and send messages for my email address

Customer Question

I use BT to receive and send messages for my email [email protected], using Microsoft Outlook 2003.
My incoming messages are not being received until the next day, although outgoing ones are sent immediately.
Can you help solve this

Thank you for your question, my name is Richard.

This will be your Mail Check Frequency

In Outlook, click Tools-->Options, Mail Setup tab.

Click on Send/Receive button, and change the value in "Schedule an automatic send/receive every to the time limit you wish. Keep it above 10 minutes.

If you have any problems, or would like any additional information or assistance, please do not hesitate to let me know.

And if you can take a second to rate my service, that would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Obviously I cannot go through the steps suggested without leaving this programme. Meanwhile, what should the time limit setting be?

Expert:  Richard replied 4 years ago.
I advise to set it to 15 minutes Richard, this is common.
