Can you do the following please
Unplug your printer from the computer
Uninstall the CANON printer software going to Start, Control Panel, Uninstall a Program
Download "windows install cleanup" tool. Go toClick ME To Open
and wait, it will start downloading
Remove any CANON printer application using this tool. (if you find any)
Restart the computer
Download the newest driver here:Click Me To View
Click "mp495swin102ejs.exe" 16.34 MB
Download and run this top perform the installation
After the new driver is installed please restart your computer
Turn on your printer and plug in the USB cable to another available USB port in your computer and try to scan.
