Ask a Computer Question, Get an Answer ASAP!
when you install a new operating system, during installation, it will ask you WHERE you want to install windows.
it will show a screen like this:
when you see this part, select your previous installation by pressing the DELETE button. this will delete the partition on your harddisk that includes your operating system.
after deleting it, you can install windows on your empty harddisk
when you do this, EVERYTHING on the harddisk will be DELETED. that's why you will need to backup your important files before installing your new operating system on your computer.
So how do I start the whole process in the first instance?
I don't have the disk her or computer but plan to do it very soon so needed to know the process
