Hold the Windows Key
(looks like a flag on the keyboard) and press r
In the run box type in inetcpl.cpl
then push enter
the Connections Tab
on the Internet Properties Window
Click the Lan Settings
the use a proxy server..
box then push OK
to close the Internet properties window.
Try Google Chrome once again.
