Can you please tell me which version of outlook you are using please?

eg: Outlook 2010

And who your email service provider is (that outlook is connecting to to download your emails).

Can you go in Outlook to Tools, Email Accounts.

click on your account and click Change.

Then click More Settings, and go to Advance

tell me the servers and ports you have set for the incoming and outgoing server please.
