I cannot download new books onto my Kindle. We recently changed back to BtHub after a few weeks of another server XLN Business. My Kindle is confused. My books are charged to amazon but I cannot remember which password XXXXX used for it. I want to go on holiday tomorrow and to download tonight. I have tried many times but my Kindle keeps apologising. Help pleased.

Exactly when are you being asked for the password? And does it say for which account eg: Your amazon account?

It asked for for my server and the password. We assume the password is as always freddie5 but it will not work. I assumed that perhaps the Kindle only recognised my Amazon password. At the moment when I press store on my Kindle the Wifi Network is shown as BTHub4-9-H9Q. It has a little key icon by it? What does that mean? How can I access my Store and buy new books ?

ok, this means it is not connected to the wireless and has no internet.

Do this please Pearl.

Hold the power button to off on the Kindle for 25 seconds, then release.

Then on the BT Hub, on the back of it is a reset button, hold it in for 10 seconds, then release.

Once done, wait 3 minutes, then turn on the Kindle.

Tell me if you can now access the store please.
