hi the red ink in my printer is not printing all the other

the red ink in my printer is not printing all the other colours are fine
i have cleaned the print head andprinted out the test pages .
these were new inks purchased on the same day.i tried 2lots of inks and they were both
kodak inks.
my printer is a kodak esp 9200 series A10

I am sorry to hear that you are having this issue with your Kodak printer.
The cause of this is the print head, either clogged or faulty.

Did you use the printers cleaning cycle where you tell the printer to go through a cleaning cycle. This will be a program on your computer or a button on the printer itself. If so, you may have to repeat these cleanings or manually clean it to take care of the clogged print head.

To manually clean please follow these steps>

1 With the printer power on open the cover and wait for the carriage to appear.
2 Unplug the printer from the mains and slide the carriage to gain access to the print cartridges and then remove them.
3 With a damp cloth clean the print head using isopropyl achohol.
4 Also clean all the contacts on the cartridge and the cartridge slot.
5 Wait 5 minutes and put the cartridges back in.


If this doesn't work then you have a faulty print head.
