the kindel on and then it dose not work

it now only opens with my password XXXXX nothing.


ok, I am going to assume your problem is the Kindle does not start, as I am not getting any detail from you on this.

Hold the power button on the Kindle to off for 35 seconds, then release.

Once done, turn on the Kindle and tell me if it now functions correctly please.
