Hello and thank you for your question today. My name is Jason. I look forward to helping you today.

May I ask for the full brand and model name of your phone, please?

Thank you,

Nokia lumia520 Windows Phone

Thank you for the update.

For that phone, there is no easy reset. You must do a full factory reset, which will erase the password XXXXX all data on it too.

Instructions for the reset:
- Turn the phone all the way off
- Press and hold the Volume Down and Camera keys at the same time
- Press and hold the Power key
- When you feel the phone vibrate, release the power key only. Continue pressing the other two keys until it reboots.

Allow it to boot up now and all should be reset. If that did not work, please, continue below:

- Turn the phone off
- Press and hold Volume Down and connect the charger or usb cable with the computer. In about 8 seconds, you will see an exclamation mark (!) on the phone screen.
- As soon as you see the "!", continue below.
- Press Volume up and release
- Press Volume down and release
- Press Power and release
- Press Volume down and release

The phone will reset and restart with all reset.
