My new computer has Windows Live Mail; unlike my previous computer

My new computer has Windows Live Mail; unlike my previous computer (Windows XP etc) 'sent' e-mails do not appear in the Sent box. It just showed 'no items etc' initially . I have now, after a few days, found that newly sent messages are in 'All e-mails' but to retrieve them I have to remember the subject, search in 'All emails' and then drag them across into the Sent box.
Is there any way in which they can be saved immediately into the 'Sent box' - or is this normal for this new version?

Yes, providing that as a result I end up with all systems as now or better. Please forgive my wariness, I am a private individual using e-mail to contact family, friends and members of the various societies I belong to. Computers have moved on a bit since I retired but so far I've kept abreast of changes. This problem has flummoxed me. Jill

My previous response said that I was still waiting to join. The connection indicator keeps on spiralling. So far I've tried a series of 'Options'. I tried option 7 at 12.13, it's now 12.23. Still no connection.

I'm very hungry and shall have to close down soon.

I have printed you instructions as to the sequence of clicks needed once i am joined.

Shall I be able to return to this enquiry? & if so how?
