I work in in school. After a power failure the link to storage pools has not re-established, seem to remember our network manager performing simple procedure to re-establish, but he's not in and pupils & staff can't access work, help please

Hi and welcome to Just Answer, a fee based Question and Answer Company. My name is ***** ***** I will be assisting you today.

What is the exact error that it's giving up on the top where the flag is?

I'm not sure what you've already done yet but restart the enclosures and server and they should come back online. I would also check to make sure that the drives are spinning.

Let me know what you find.

Sorry I'm not sure of correct terminology, I've restarted both where I think the storage pools are (on a terrastation) and the 'storage server'. on server manager, servers, 'storage' have message "Session to server \storage.norden2000.local was lost Status 0xC00000CC" among other similar in events. And storage pools show up as in attachment

When I try and access the areas I can get as far as the top level share, but those below won't open and I get the message suggesting a mis-spelling

. I'm think last time this happened my network manager somehow re-established the links, unfortunately I don't know what he did. I can't tell if drives are spinning but all lights are on.

Normally a corrupted service or data will cause this but hopefully that's not the case. I'd like to spend a couple minutes connected to it remotely to see what's going on if that's ok.

Here's the link to get me connected:

Have used link

All I'm getting is a black screen, which tends to happen, so we'll need to use another software called Team Viewer to make this happen. Same concept just a different software.

Run the software and reply back with the 9 digit ID and 4 digit Password.

software downloaded but won't run, despite 'allowing'. Have to leave work shortly - can I pick up on this tomorrow?

We can pick up tomorrow if you like. I'm surprised that it's not running. We may have to install the full version at and run it that way.

Hi, back in work now, please can we continue

Customer: replied 3 years ago.

Network managed called in and sorted out. Problem solved.

Thank you.

Sorry for the delay Pat. I'm a few hours behind you here in the USA and wasn't online.

What was the issue?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

Realised a time delay, not to worry, we no longer have the problem, which is the important thing. Thanks for you help.

That is the important thing! That's weird that the remote software wasn't working or else we could of resolved it sooner.

Have a great day Pat!
