here below is what i have to share
1. Power on password ***** be reset in 2 ways - resaeting the cmos battery or througg special password ***** tool specific to your laptop
As this is a new laptop, reseating the cmos battery located on motherboard involves disassembling the laptop
if we do that the warranty cover would be void so i would not suggest that in your case
the other option is a password ***** through password ***** tools specific to your laptop - this tool would only be available via asus as for each laptop, the reset key is different as this ensures laptop and laptop owner's data security
the option of getting this done through reset tool is what i would suggest
however, for the same you will have to take the laptop to the store from where you got it to get a service arranged within warranty cover through an asus authorised service center
