This is usually an issue with the Firmware, so I would first like you to do this please.
Remove the charger from the Kindle and hold the power button to off seconds.
Release, then remove the power from your netgear router
Wait 5 minutes, then connect the power to the netgear router and wait 5 minutes
Then connect the charger and try to turn on the Kindle.

It was the firmware that had an issue, and needed a hard restart. We did this just then. It will now be ok.
