Thanks John
press your 'Windows' button,
right click computer and click 'Manage',
once this opens up on the left click on 'Device manager'.
You should see the problematic device with a yellow exclamation mark on it listed under 'Portable Devices'.
Right click to 'Uninstall Driver'.
Now lets click on 'Action' at the top of the Device manager screen, then click 'Scan changes'.
After a few seconds it will detect the device, once this is done right click the device and select 'Update Driver Software...',
Next select 'Browse my computer software',
in this window click on 'Browse..' off to the right then navigate to the following,
C:/ Windows/ inf, then click 'Open'.
Press Next and the drivers will update.
Then try to sync it again

When did it last synch John?
I can also do these steps , and have made a request via Additional Services. This is optional, and if you choose to do this, I can, with your permission, remote into your computer while you watch and do all these steps (and deal with any problems that arise during them) . This will download a program to your computer.
Run this program by double clicking it.
You will then see a ID and Password.
Please send that to me in your next message.
Do not close the program, please leave it open.
Make sure to seperate the code numbers with a space eg: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9
