Ask Your Own Computer Question
Hi, and thank you for asking your question.

Thumbs.db is an image cache which makes thumbnail viewing faster in Windows. The file is automatically created in Windows Vista, 7 and 8 whenever images are present in a folder.

It's a hidden file (by default), so if you want to stop seeing them in your folders, please do this:

Go to Start, type in folder options in the search field and press ENTER.

In the Folder Options window, click on the View tab, then select 'Do not show hidden files and folders.'

Click Apply > OK. This should "hide" the thumbs.db files from showing up anywhere from now on.
