it was linking up my new kindle but one of the support team couldn't help me but suggested I call my phone provider and they told me I needed a new router and they are sending me one. the young lady I was speaking with was Ange and she was most helpful and has promised to call me back on Thursday.

Are you getting an error when you sync your kindle to your account? Most of the time it is not your router that is the problem unless it has gone completely out.
