you are trying to connect to it via wireless?
And what is the exact error it gives when it fails?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

trying via wireless

On most occasions, although it can detect the wireless network the talk talk icon is described as "limited"

On other occasions I get internet conection failed - error AC-3100 0x84008503

First, can you power off the computer (always I am referring to the problem computer) then power off the TalkTalk wifi router
Wait 5 minutes and power on the router.
Then wait 5 minutes, power on the computer and try to then connect.
Let me know the results please
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

Did all that - still no joy. as before the laptop detects the TalkTalk network but the software can't access it.

Expert:  Richard replied 2 years ago.
ok, on the back of the Talktalk router is a reset button.
You may need to use a paperclip and hold it in for 10 seconds then release.
Once done, restart the computer and then try to connect to the wireless network
Let me know please if it then connects.
