Can you tell me exactly how you access your emails please?
Via an email program installed on your computer?
eg: Windows Live Mail?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

Access is by the envelope button icon on the screen, I think its windows live mail.

Expert:  Richard replied 2 years ago.
yes it is.
The thing is Stephen, the folders you had on the other computer are stored on the actual computer itself and you need to copy these over to the new computer.
I see this has not been done, and we need to get this from the old computer which we can do together.
Is the old computer still available?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

The folders are on the new computer but are not showing anything in them as the messages are over 2 weeks old. My inbox only shows the last 2 weeks of mail and I know that some of my unread mail is 3 weeks old and some of the stored mail is up to 1 year.

If they are not showing data, then the emails are not copied over in the folders, or the folders are not in the correct locationIf you look in the folders on your actual computer, what do you then see?I can see you are a first time user to the site. What we do here is either a question and answer type of conversation or remote support where I would actually connect to the computer and have a look and attempt to fix the problem for you. Remote support can save a lot of time if you are not comfortable performing repairs yourself. Sometimes even with instructions you can make a mistake and make things worse. I will send an offer through for remote support and should you accept I will connect and see what is going on and fix the issue. Otherwise we can continue to talk like this but I will need to ask a number of other questions and try and walk you through some steps. Both options are 100% guaranteed by the way. Remote is just quicker and avoids the risk of you making a mistake and doing something wrong. If you want remote click get extra help. If not simply reply to me. Thanks, Richard
