Hello, I have purchased 3 Kindle books from this afternoon and they are not downloading onto my Kindle. What am I doing or have done wrong??

Hello and welcome to Just Answer.Many issues with your Kindle, such as a frozen screen or issues with downloading content, can be solved by restarting your device.Press and hold the Power button for a full 40 seconds.After the first 6 to 8 seconds, the screen will go blank, which is normal. Continue holding the Power button.After the 40 seconds, release the Power button.The charge indicator light will turn on after a few seconds.

I still don't have my books on the Kindle and I havedone as you stated, so how will I know if you have been able to help me??

Well, we have to go through a process of elimination to be able to find the issue. That was step1. How will I knw if I helped you or not? Well I would hope you would tell me. Otherwise, I wont really know. But, we can try a few other things.When you purchased the E-books.....did you purchase from the Kindle? Or did you purchase from a DIFFERENT a PC or Mac?

Are you able to view, and read the E-books on your laptop?Is this your FIRST e-book purchase?Are you sure you re logged inwith the same account on both the Laptop for Amazon, as you are with your kindle?

I have purchased e-books on many occassions and I always purchase through my laptop.I can read the books on my laptop

Is your kindle storage full?You canalso try using an Amazon App, that helps to PUSH ebooks to your kindle, called SEND TO KINDLE.I sugest you try it.Here is the link to try is an application you install on your laptop. this fix the issue?

You could also try restarting your Laptop.It sounds like, there is an issue with the sync time. Between a purchase, and its availability to view on your Kindle.Obviously the kindle MUST be connected to the internet via wifi, or 3G.

Couldn't get books downloaded and eventually I spoke with Amaxon and they helped me . It was found that as I'd moved house and had to get new box and the code had not been connected to the kindle and that is why it wouldn't download. In fact I've wasted £13 on your company and £12 on phn calls when I was told I shouldnt have bouhht 3 books and ttied to load them at once. WHAT!!! I should have contacted amaxon first as they helped me in 2mins after I'd wasted £25 so I won't be using u again
