Ok, the BT website may not support all versions of Safari, so can you try either updating Safari to the latest available, or using a different browser, e.g. Chrome?

As I've been using Safari to log in for at least 10 years what has changed in it to suddenly make it unable to secure a connection to BT? I have used the "search for updates".

BT will continuously review their online security and this may mean certain browser versions are blocked if they do not meet the required standards.
It could also be that a 3rd party add-on in Safari or some other software on your Mac is causing the issue.

The quickest solution is to use another browser, e.g. Chrome.Or turn off Safari Extensions to learn whether any are causing the issue:From the Safari menu, choose Preferences.Click the Extensions icon, then select an extension from the list. Deselect the Enable checkbox to turn off that extension.

There were no extensions. I'll obviously have to try another browser.
