Hi there,
What web browser are you using to attempt the connection? (e.g. Chrome, IE, Firefox)
Do you have another browser available that you can try?
Have you tried temporarily disabling any antivirus or firewall software?
Let me know if you would like remote assistance to help troubleshoot this.
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

Hi I'm trying to access it from the NetDrive.exe installed on my computer, not from a web browser. I have it installed on my other laptop and it works fine always. I know I have the right IP, Media Port, etc. I don't know why I get that error. I'm on Pacific Time in California, USA, so I won't be home until tonight and be near the laptop.

Yes, I am available now...

ok I remembered my password ***** logged in to the web manager using firefox and it works to see current CCTV, but when I attempt to playback a camera from yesterday or any prior day I get an error that says "Create Connect Failed" referencing a path to C/Program Files/Mozilla firefox/plug-in container. So i don't know why I get that error.

The connection can fail if it is blocked by antivirus or firewall software.
Try disabling those and try again.
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

I disabled auto protect and firewall on Norton, but I still get the same message.

Try using a different web browser, or try using Mozilla Firefox without any add-ons and let me know if it works...
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

Still no luck. I tried in Chrome but I keep getting in a loop that asks me to install the netdriver.exe plug in but I already have it installed.

Expert:  Pete replied 2 years ago.
Have you tried Firefox without add-ons?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

yes, there are no add ons on firefox right now. Can we fix this today if you take control of my comp for the extra $38? I'm willing to do it, I need this fixed in the next 90 minutes.

Hello, maybe I can take a whack at this. Most web based programs are written as IE as the browser of choice.Have you tried using Internet Explorer? If so, what version?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

It's not working on IE, I'm running an old version since this is a Vista OS.

Expert:  Quiksilver07070 replied 2 years ago.
