Hi My windows live mail has suddenly stopped working properly. I receive emails but cannot send - it says 'unknown error'. I also cannot delete emails. Please help!

I have just updated to Windows 10.
Thank youCan you press the windows key + X and click on Control Panel.Then click on uninstall a program.Click on windows essentials, click change, then repair.Let this complete, restart the computer and tell me if you still have the issue. I can also do these steps for you, and have made a request via Additional Services. This is optional, and if you choose to do this, I can, with your permission, remote into your computer while you watch and do all these steps (and deal with any problems that arise during them) for you. Or if you do not choose to take this service, we can continue here. This is no problem at all. Just let me know please. Else let me know the results please.

Thank you - I would like you do do this for me please so I will click accept this offer in a second. I just have one question - I remember a few years back when I uninstalled Windows Live Mail, when re-installed it took 3 days to download all my emails - is this likely to happen again?
We are some way from having to uninstall it, there are many things to first do, so we will need to see but I will warn you upfront.
