How do I connect my wife's new I phone 4s to the network. I am on a Vodaphone contract and she is vodaphone pay as you go. I have a BT Hub

Hi there and welcome

To do this, on the iPhone go to settings, Wifi, then select your BT network in the list.

Enter in your password (it is wireless or security key on a label on the Hub)

and once done, it is then connected to the network.

I think I must be thick! Where do I enter the password?

The BT Hub reference 8TN6 is already displayed on my wife's phone.

When you connect it asks you to enter in the password.

Is it saying it is connected when you go to settings, wifi?

I'm so sorry. I can't see where to enter the password. I think I'n connected, the green and white tube is on opposites Wi-fi and BTHub5-8TN6 is ticked - but still no connection.

If it is ticked it is connected

How do you mean no connection? What are you trying to do?

With my Iphone 4s, no problems. I have 5 blobs in the top left hand corner. With my wife's phone, just "no service".

ok, but that can be referring to the phone network, not wifi.

If you install an app, can you access the app store?

When I press the Aps button on her phone, yes, I di get the featured Aps.

No service is referring to the phone network from Vodafone.

Did you put the Sim into it and activate the Sim card?

I put the Sim card in. I may not have activated it. How is that done?

Call 0333 3040 191 and have it activated and it will then get service.

I only get recorded messages there!

You have vodafone so on your phone dial 191 which gets there as well
