Forgot my password, phone won't allow me to use finger print or unlock via Google, how do I unlock my phone?

Hi there and welcome

Can you tell me please the model of your phone

Thank you

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Samsung Galaxy S6 edge

You will have to reset the phone Ronald if you cannot get the fingerprint is not being read and you forgot the password.

It will remove all data and return the phone to new, but this is the whole reason for the security, to protect the data.

To do the reset

  1. First, turn off the phone by using the Power button.
  2. Now press and hold together: Volume Up + Home + Power button, until you see Samsung logo.
  3. Then select from Recovery Mode menu "wipe data / factory reset" using Volume buttons to navigate and Power button to confirm.
  4. Choose "Yes -- delete all user data" to confirm the whole operation.
  5. After that select option "reboot system now".

Once done, the phone is as new and you can then set it up and use it again

Let me know please how you go
