We have a Samsung Galaxy T800 tablet which has worked

Customer Question

We have a Samsung Galaxy T800 tablet which has worked perfectly for a few years. However it has now lost contact with our WIFI even although it is shown as connected and safe and secure with strong signal. Every time we try to go online with it it says there is a problem with connection or there is an error. We have had no emails since 5th March although they come through on our pc.

Have you tried clicking on forget wifi and reconnecting?

Expert:  cvd4311 replied 1 month ago.

Go to Settings->Wireless settings. You will see the list of wireless. Tap and HOLD the target wifi connection. Select Forget. Then select the wifi connection again and reconnect to it.

Also make sure your router/model is at least a minimum 3 feet or more from your PC and any other wifi devices it is hooked up too.

Your Galaxy is asking for password ***** your wifi internet?

Expert:  cvd4311 replied 1 month ago.

If it is your Galaxy asking for password ***** these instructions after you go to your PC:

Go to http://findmymobile.samsung.com. Then log in using your Samsung account.

Click Unlock my screen.

Click Unlock.

After you receive a notification on your computer informing you that your screen is unlocked, you can unlock your screen on your device.

If you can not do this, you will have to perform a factory reset (which will delete everything off your tablet back to when you bought it brand new).
