Hello Michelle Tech Support Specialist - sorry I had to rush off today. Its now 12.15 (after Midnight ) here. I just checked Skype on my Win 10 notebook and I can log in without any trouble. I would like to get back to you tomorrow 15/01/2018 on my Win 8 notebook where the problem seems to be.

my procedure -
Open SKYPE
enter my password
it says that is not the correct PW
asks me to complete email address
I get a code number on email
enter the number back in Sklype
asks me to enter new PW
repeat PW to check
"you can now use this PW to log in to Skype_"
this always works.
Trouble is this PW may not work the next tine.
I am now going to use my Saturday morning PW (that worked last nighr on Win 10 notebook.
will let you know what happens,
