I am getting a error message in Gmail Assistant: What device

Assistant: What's the brand and model of your computer? And the Operating System (OS)?
Customer: Dell Inspiron Windows 7
Assistant: How long has this been going on with your computer? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Three days and Ive tried my server and Google to no avail
Assistant: Anything else you want the Computer Expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: The error message on Gmail says We are having difficulty connecting to Google.
