JA: What Operating System (OS) are you running on your iPad?
Customer: i stay in sheltered housing so share wifi router
JA: How long has this been going on with your iPad? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Its my TV that won’t stay connected long i phone and i pad are ok

If you are connecting to a home router, then yes the IP address should all be different. if you get something like 169.254.x.x then you are not getting an ip from the dhcp server

you may have to go into the router and make sure it has enough IP addresses to give out
