Since broadband went live today we have no landline. We signed up for broadband and phone.
JA: What's the brand/model of your phone system?
Customer: BT Quad D
JA: How long has this been going on with your phone system? What have you tried so far?
Customer: No landline. We have disconnected the router and plugged in a Binatone Trend to check and found no dial tone
JA: Anything else you want the Phone Expert to know before I connect you?

Unplug the power cord to the base unit and all of the handsets

Wait 10 minutes

Plug back in the power cords

plugged power cord back in, still no dial tone. have unplugged the hub and filter at the main incoming phone socket , plugged in a known working phone and still no tone.

no I don't. check that it is enabled by TalkTalk

should be TalkTalk now, it was BT until we left to go to them
