Ive bought and connected a nighthawk ac2600 smart wifi router model R7800 but cant get online. Should i have bought a modem as well?
JA: Are you able to connect using an ethernet cable?
Customer: i havent tried that, where should i plug into the router?
JA: Which lights are colored and/or blinking on your R7800 router?
Customer: no coloured lights just white

Try powering off the nighthawk ac2600 smart wifi router , pull the power cable out of the nighthawk ac2600 smart wifi router , wait for 1 minute, then put the power cable back in. After this try again.

wired Router connection steals internet from sim card. Means i have to reboot,

now on the internet again, but with sim rather than router. Connecting the eithernet cable to the router cuts the internet connection. Any suggestions?

Use a pointed object such as a pen or a paper clip to press and hold the Restore Factory Settings button, located on the bottom of the router, for over five seconds until the Power LED blinks amber. ii. Release the Restore Factory Settings button, and wait for the router to reboot.

what do i need to do?
  1. Connect your modem to the Internet port on your NETGEAR router with an Ethernet cable.
  2. Connect your computer to one of the Ethernet ports on the router.
  3. Press the Power button on the router.
    The LEDs on the router light.
  4. Open a web browser and enter routerlogin.net.
    You are prompted to log in.
  5. Log in to the router.
    The default user name is admin.
    The default password ***** password.
    The user name and password ***** case-sensitive.
  6. Click ADVANCED > Setup Wizard.
  7. Select the Yes radio button and click Next.
    The router detects your Internet connection.
    You are prompted to log in.
  8. Enter and confirm a new admin password.
  9. Select and answer two security questions.
  10. Click Next.
    The Congratulation! page displays.
  11. (Optional) Click Print this to print your network settings.
  12. Click Next.
    The Firmware Update Assistant page displays.
  13. If a firmware update is not available, click OK.
    Your router is set up.
  14. If a firmware update is available, click Yes to update your firmware.

when i go to routerlogin.net i get the error 'No Ethernet Cable Is Plugged into the Router Internet Port' I have tried two different eithernet cables but get the same each time
