I am using Acrobat DC and the application keeps "Quit unexpectedly" The same thing happens with Mail which I have tried to fix but no result
JA: How do you usually access Adobe? On a phone or tablet, or through a web browser?
Customer: I click on the application on my Mac
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: With mail I have used the blogs - Quit then reopen holding shift key then restart. With Adobe I have not tried anything yet new today!!

Follow the steps below to perform a clean uninstallation and reinstallation of Acrobat to resolve the issue:-

  • Delete all Adobe folders located at /Library/Application Support and ~/Library/Application Support.

  • Delete All Adobe preferences from /Library/Preferences and ~/Library/Preferences.

  • Restart the machine.

  • Launch Acrobat and Sign in to activate it.
